Francis Scott Fitzgerald was born September 24th, 1896, in Saint Paul,Minnesota, to an upper-middle class family. He was an American novelist and wrote many short stories and was also a poet. He dropped out of Princeton University to join the U.S Army. The Great Gatsby was the third book that he wrote in 1925. Scott Fitzgerald was known as one of the greatest authors in the 21st century. Fitzgerald passed away on December 21st, 1970 at the age of 44 due to a heart attack.
